Lori Weitzner Design Inc.
Serendipitous advice from an art professor set Lori Weitzner on her path to textile design. After traveling in Europe and sustaining a successful freelance career, her big break came through Jack Lenor Larsen, for whom she designed collections under her own name. Her collaboration with the German brand, Sahco, from 2000 to 2012 garnered her designs broader recognition in the international interiors market. In 2004, Lori introduced Weitzner Limited, offering innovative wall coverings to a worldwide market. Then in 2011 she joined forces with Pollack, an internationally known textile company, and 2012 saw the launch of her own textile collection under the Weitzner brand. Her work is housed in the permanent collections of museums including the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Montreal, the Victoria and Albert in London, and Cooper-Hewitt in New York City. She is the recipient of multiple design awards and travels the globe lecturing on the importance of engaging the senses through design..
