Why We Love This

Pair of 19th-century French chairs made in the Louis XVI style. They have been reupholstered, sometime in the past, in a cotton chintz floral print. The unattached cushions are feather stuffed. Signed. The chairs are not of equal size, gentleman and lady proportions. Smaller chair: 23.25"L x 21"W x 35.5"H; arm, 25"H. Larger chair, arm, 25.25"H.
