A perfect marriage of artistry and versatility: a reverse-painted glass tray, handcrafted by Peruvian artisans, atop a sturdy but foldable wood stand. You can use the tray on its own to serve drinks or corral objects atop a table, or you can place the tray on the stand to serve as an easily movable occasional table.
Robert M. Weiss home accessories share a luminous quality--the unique, Old World glow of verre églomisé, or reverse-painted glass. When the Spaniards settled in Peru in the 16th century, they brought many of their household items with them, including reverse-painted Venetian glass mirrors. In time, a core of Peruvian artisans began to recreate these masterpieces locally. Today, every Robert Weiss creation is handcrafted and painted in Peru by artisans who proudly carry on this tradition.
