Why We Love This

A vintage black-and-white photograph of a house designed by Charles Gwathmey, an avant-garde American architect of the 1960s and 70s who was much admired for his Modernist residences. He also designed the 1992 renovation and expansion of Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim Museum in New York.

This work is not framed. It is mounted on board.

Established in 1955, APF Munn continues to create superiorly crafted, custom frames for fine art and mirrors. The company's frames hang in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the de Young Museum in San Francisco, and the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. APF Munn's own holdings include fine and important works by masters of the 20th century, from Dalì to Matisse.
