Why We Love This

1967 pastel of a San Juan, Puerto Rico seascape, by New York artist and collector Anne Granick (1911-2006). Granick was a self-taught artist and a dancer for the Martha Graham Company in New York. She and her husband, Arthur Granick, befriended many noted artists including Mark Rothko, Milton Avery, David Burliuk and Jennings Tofel. Signed, lower right. Unframed. Shipped with standard size archival mat.
