Why We Love This

Rich landscape by listed artist Arline Michaelson (1913-2004). Michaelson was born in Ohio and later lived in Burbank, California. Her bold, modernist landscapes and still lifes are rare. Listed in Edan Hughes, Artists in California, 1786-1940. Signed and dated 1969 lower right. Presented in an intricately detailed gilt wood and gesso frame with luxurious velvet matte.
