A striking image of a palm frond, presented as a framed diptych. Ben Wood started his career at the age of 21, following in the footsteps of his great-grandfather, who ran a portrait studio in Baker Street, London. After a few years assisting photographers such as David Bailey and Don Freeman, Wood struck out on his own, opening a studio in Bleeding Heart Yard, London. He is now based at his studio in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight. Living on the island with its beautiful landscape and sailing at Cowes both inspires and informs Wood's ever-evolving portfolio. He exhibits widely and has recently shown his equine photography at Gallery 54 in Mayfair, London and the Apremont Polo Club in Paris, France.
