After removing plant from package, water soil thoroughly and remove any brown fronds; spotting is normal in most cases and will fade with proper care. Place in sunny spot and water every other day for first 15 days. Then, reduce watering to 2-3 times per week. When watering, drench soil enough to leave it moist; do not leave a puddle of water on the soil.
