Why We Love This

Graphite on paper scene of Oxford, England entitled Entrance Gateway, St. Mary's Guildhall Coventry by British artist Walter Gandy, 1920. Gandy was an English artist in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This graphite drawing was mostly made of the noted architectural features and street scenes of Oxford, England. Gandy is known to have been commissioned for artwork by the Royal Doulton Company (makers of fine English china and stoneware) and various postcard companies. Unsigned, unframed.
