Why We Love This

Windsor highback chair owned by Western movie star Wild Bill Elliott [1904 – 1965], a great fan and collector of furniture designer Jack Rennick’s work. Acquired by the last owner’s parents in 1958 when they bought Elliot’s Malibu beach home, completely furnished with Rennick's furniture and many Early American pieces. This high-back Windsor is unusual in design and execution. All handmade and carved mortice and tenon. Beautiful and very comfortable.
