"Charcoal drawing of 'Cowboy Tom' by Hernando Villa. 1945. Villa studied in England and Germany, and at the Art & Design school in Los Angeles. He worked as a commercial artist and illustrator for the Santa Fe Railroad for 40 years. Produced scenes of the Old West, Indians, missions and the Mexican Vaqueros. Most known for the Santa Fe Railroad emblem of The Chief. 93 auction records, 16 book references."
