Why We Love This

"Photograph of a wild pear tree in the morning fog by contemporary Mendocino-Bay Area artist, Gaetan Caron (b. 1964), co-founder of Lost Art Salon in San Francisco. Part of the fine art photography documentation of the artist’s homestead in Mendocino, Northern California. Produced in a limited edition of seven and printed on archival Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl paper. The work floats museum-style in an archival mat and is presented in a contemporary wood frame using archival framing techniques."

About Lost Art Salon

For the past 11 years, artists Rob Delamater and Gaetan Caron’s Lost Art Salon has been a hub of inspiration and affordable period artwork ( called it “an obsessive collector’s stash of original 20th-century works”). Their fine-art collection includes thousands of original works from rediscovered and historically significant 20th-century and contemporary artists, with all framing done in-studio. In this mix: desirable pieces from their most collectible artists, including their own works.
