Why We Love This

Scottish Victorian dresser, circa 1860. The top and plinth base have a darker cinnamon color. The front has gently faded to a fruitwood color. There are five spacious dovetailed drawers, which are graduated, with the deepest at the bottom. The bottom drawer is very deep, with the plinth base actually being a part of the drawer.

About Marc t. Nielsen Interiors

Marc t. Nielsen Interiors, founded in 1924, added the Antique Shop and Gallery after WWII, when Europeans were selling beautiful things. We are affected by the sense of history that antiques and vintage furnishings provide. The magic of their survival and their intriguing stories enhance many environments. Now owned by Valerie Steil ASID, the shop is gorgeous, with a dash of bohemian in a huge Tudor style barn in bucolic Suman Valley just outside Valparaiso, IN.
