A fine-art reproduction of Plate 24 from the portfolio "Compositions, Colors, Ideas" (1930) by Sonia Delaunay. With her husband, Robert, Delaunay co-founded the Orphism movement, noted for its use of strong colors and geometric shapes. Her work extends to painting, textile design, and stage-set design. In 1964 she became the first living female artist to have a retrospective exhibition at the Louvre, and in 1975 she was named an officer of the French Legion of Honor. This work is part of the Baltimore Museum of Art collection. Custom frame.
