Why We Love This

Brought to Italy in the late-19th-century by merchants in Genoa, this wallpaper was recently discovered in a palazzo on the Arno River in Florence. The wallpaper was originally designed and hand-painted in China and later used by the legendary decorator and set designer Renzo Mongiardino in many of his residential, theatrical and cinematic projects. Each fragment has been mounted and framed to showcase its unique beauty.

About FLAIR Home Collection

FLAIR owners George Nunno and Jon Maroto both had previous careers in fashion, which meant frequent visits to the style capitals of the world--Paris, Florence, Antwerp, London. They established a network of private dealers and suppliers who granted them access to the hard-to-find and interesting pieces that they continue to seek out today. With an exacting eye for color, proportion, and elegance, they have an elegantly modern, sexy, unexpected style, often combining vintage furniture with pieces of their design and new and artisanal works.
