About Alexandra von Furstenberg

In 1995 Alexandra von Furstenberg joined the design team of fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg, her mother-in-law at the time, and served as Creative Director for the company. After moving to LA in 2006, she concentrated on designing for the home. A synthesis of art, home furnishings and fashion, her collection consists of signed, limited-edition pieces made of acrylic, a nod to the the ‘70s when the material was widely regarded as the medium of the future.
