Why We Love This

Original watercolor of The Coliseum, the most famous amphitheater of ancient Rome. Its construction began in 70AD under the emperor Vespasian, and took ten years to build. In its heyday the Coliseum could hold between 50,000 and 80,000 spectators. Unframed.
