Why We Love This

French oil on canvas by Felix Polak, signed and dedicated "A mon cher Maitre Monsieur H. de Chennevieres, Hommage tres respectueusement affectueux" on stretcher on reverse. Polak exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he became a member in 1887. He received an honorable mention in 1909. Circa 1900.
