Why We Love This

A poster created by Raoul Dufy for the 1939 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in Paris. This beautiful four-color lithograph was printed by the celebrated Atelier Mourlot in Paris in 1959 after the original poster.
A leading French Fauvist, Raoul Dufy created a singularly beautiful style full of color and light. The artist often depicted lively outdoor scenes, such as yachting events, parties, and concerts.
