Why We Love This

Oil painting by Eric Forlee (b. 1949) of a lion in the Savannah grasslands. Forlee, who is considered one of the leading safari painters in the world, is known for his realistic renderings of African wildlife. Born in China, he endured a difficult childhood and had to escape a Chinese labor camp during the Cultural Revolution. Today his works are exhibited through out the USA and Internationally.
