Why We Love This

Pair of 1960s armchairs, an excellent example of late Mid-Century Modernism. The new Trina Turk upholstery nods to the Abstract Expressionist painters of the 1950s. The pair were created to occupy an office building in Utah. Seat, 17.5"H; arm, 25.5"H.

About Christa Pirl Furniture

Christa Pirl Furniture hand-selects and restores well-constructed, unique antique and vintage seating pieces. Interior designer and antiques expert Christa respects the history of each piece, but is not bound by the past. Her restorations take into account a chair's individual story and journey, and reorient the piece for modern living and a modern sense of style. Christa lives to bring exceedingly individual and highly crafted pieces into everyday spaces, and to restore the art of lounging.
