Why We Love This

A 39-star American flag printed on linen, with stars arranged in a 7/6/7/6/7/6 pattern. For a short period in 1889, believing the Dakotas would be admitted to the Union as a single state, flag manufacturers produced 39-star flags that never came into official use. Displayed in a giltwood frame and mounted on a white board. Flag, 12"L x 8"H.
