About the Brand

Brooklyn-based painter Jonathan Sims originally hails from Austin and San Antonio, TX. In his work, Sims manipulates subjects with geometric forms to create compelling compositions. Using intentionally non-specific characters and nuanced fields of black paint, Sims’s recent abstract pieces communicate with viewers in indirect, organic ways that lie outside spoken or written language.
