Why We Love This

A rare console by Arturo Pani, the decorator to the elite and collaborator with his architect brother Mario Pani on signature modernist projects of the day ('50s and '60s). Beautifully crafted of solid brass with inserts of "verre eglomise" and mirror. It was not a practice for Pani pieces to be signed.
As described by INSH'ALA

Carol Romano's treasure-packed shop Insh'ala in San Miguel de Allende has evolved over twelve years from purely Moroccan imports to an alluring collection from Mexico, Turkey, Syria, Central Asia, and beyond... impressively eclectic, in every sense of the word. A New York native, Carol moved to Mexico in 1995, working with local artisans to design tabletop products. Her travels to North Africa inspired what has now become Insh'ala, San Miguel's premier source for the most unique home treasures.
