About the Brand

Mike Dale, the founder and designer behind Coffee in Bed, creates imagery that is sharply realistic and satisfyingly graphic. After over 15 years working as a graphic designer, Dale became enamored with the handmade process of traditional printmaking. Working in his studio, Dale draws each design and then transfers it to a linoleum block, which is outlined and carved by hand. The remaining relief of the image is rolled with ink and run through a ceramic slab roller press, and the print is born. Dale lives in the culturally buzzing city of Asheville, North Carolina.
