Why We Love This

Painted in exquisite detail, this watercolor portrait depicts a young Burmese man wearing a turban and green and white tunic. Titled Sakaw Karen Man, Taungoo District lower left. Signed "Yatanabon Mg Su" lower right. A Burmese artist, Yatanabon was known for his masterful watercolor portraiture and has several paintings in the Victoria Albert collection in London. Displayed in a faux-bamboo frame with mat. Image, 7.25"L x 10"H.
