Hailing from Ireland, painter Lola Donoghue holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. Imbued with a painterly, yet childlike quality, Donoghue's work is characterized by a predominantly white-on-white palette, layered with a mix of muted colors and splashes of bright neon. In her compositions, Donoghue creates a delicate balance between linear forms and more built-up areas of paint. "My paintings are captured moments and experiences,” says Donoghue. “They are always an emerging process, I never know quite what the finished piece will look like. I like when I discover things by accident and I usually let this dictate the direction of the painting." Donoghue’s work is held in private collections all over the world.
