Why We Love This

Basket designed by Mr. Watkin in 1940 for Beswick Pottery of Stoke-on-Trent, England (founded 1892) and released from 1940 to 1972. Art Deco-style container for a bridal bouquet. Decorated with embossed leaves, finished in ivory semi-matte glaze. Interior is finished in "Rouge Royal" glaze, unique to Beswick. Underside stamped with the "Beswick Ware" stamp, incised "Made in England 819."
