Quail Lane Press
A print of a historic San Diego map. Hand-drawn and printed on an old-fashioned letterpress to look like an authentic artifact, this piece is also tinted with watercolor. The original inhabitants of this region are now known as the San Dieguito and La Jolla people. The city of San Diego lies on approximately 200 deep canyons (some of which are noted on this map) and hills separating its mesas, creating small pockets of natural open space scattered throughout the city and giving it a hilly geography. Please note that this work is unframed.
