Why We Love This

A mosaic from Agadir in Morocco supplied the foundation for this hypnotic photo-study. The artist reworked the design by dropping and adding colors, then gave the entire work a distressed effect. The result is a bohemian feel that recalls vintage Morocco.
The image is printed in eco-friendly UV inks on reclaimed wood collected from old barns around the United States. Each board is hand-selected by craftsmen for printing, making this piece truly one of a kind. Given the wood’s age and previous use, it is likely to have irregularities such as knots, stains or an uneven surface. These imperfections add character and patina to this fine work of art. Features an artist signature on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Ready to hang. Made in the USA.

About Parvez Taj

A visionary artist, Parvez Taj creates evocative works for the wall that draw viewers in with brilliant colors and rich textures. Taj freely mixes media, including photography, software, and acrylics, to achieve his bold effects. He works with UV-cured inks and recycled wood, often reclaimed from rural buildings throughout the U.S., to minimize his impact on the environment. Taj was born in Canada and currently lives and works in Los Angeles. His works are entirely made in California.
