Why We Love This

English oak joint bench with a beveled edge around the plank top, fastened with pegged construction, circa 1670-1690. The base has a wonderfully decorated apron with fluted decoration on one side and a carved edge on the other side. The legs are wonderfully turned and are joined by stretchers with a molded edge.
