A print of the original pencil, gouache, and coffee work on paper. The piece is set in a white wood frame, ready to hang.
In her work, Meagan Donegan often uses images of animals to represent symbols and spirits. To her, symbols such as nomads, cowboys, colonists, and sages represent the idea of sacredness, personal space, and boundaries. Donegan is also a twin, and she often explores her shared childhood--and the broader implications of close connectivity to others--in her art.
