Why We Love This

"The Kiss" is perhaps Gustav Klimt's most famous work. He began it in 1907 at the high point of his Golden Period. It depicts a couple, in various shades of gold and symbols, sharing a kiss against a bronze background. This giclée print of the iconic original is set in a custom gold-finished frame.
Gustav Klimt was an Austrian Symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. His major works include paintings, murals, sketches, and other art objects. Klimt's primary subject was the female body and his works are marked by a frank eroticism.
