Why We Love This

Created by Dufy for a performance of "Tragédie, Comédie," this beautiful six-color lithograph was printed by the celebrated Atelier Mourlot in Paris in 1959. The work has been handsomely framed and matted.
A leading French Fauvist, Raoul Dufy created a singularly beautiful style full of color and light. The artist often depicted lively outdoor scenes, such as yachting events, parties, and concerts.
