Why We Love This

Colored graphite still life in the Art Deco-style by Eileen Cummings Basté, circa 1920-30s. Basté (1909-2006) attended art school in Detroit in the 1920s where she met her future husband, Arthur Basté, who was also an artist. Displayed in wood frame with archival mat and etched non-glare glass. Includes hanging hardware. Unsigned.
