Exquisite 19th-century oil landscape by William Otto Emerson (1856-1940). Signed and dated 1893 lower left. Inscribed At Rigood, Holland, Summer of 1892 on verso. Emerson studied at Academie Julian in Paris and while there had a long stay in Holland and is listed in Edan Milton Hughes' Artists in California 1786-1940, Peter Falk Hastings' Who Was Who in American Art and Kathy Middleton's W. Otto Emerson. Unframed.
