Why We Love This

A fine-art reproduction of Toulouse-Lautrec's famous work "At the Moulin Rouge" (1892-1895). This piece is set in the Moulin Rouge cabaret, which was built in Paris is 1889. It portrays a group of three men and two women sitting around a table, from right to left: writer Edouard Dujardin, dancer La Macarona, and photographers Paul Secau and Maurice Guibert. The woman at the right in the foreground is English dancer May Milton. In the background, the viewer can see La Goulue, the French can-can dancer known as the Queen of Montmartre, dancing with a female patron, as well as Lautrec himself, walking with Gabriel Tapié de Céleyran. Custom framed.
