Why We Love This

A re-strike engraving of a world map by Matthäus Seutter with projections of the Western and Eastern hemispheres, in addition to eight globes depicting different parts of the world from the position of the North and South Pole. Blow heads illustrate the various winds. Also shown are the sea routes of the great explorers during the Age of Discovery. Exquisitely hand-colored on specially treated paper evoking the antique patina of the original. Unframed.
