Why We Love This

1932's "The Dream" depicts the then 50-year-old artist's 24-year-old mistress, Marie-Therese Walter. It belongs to Picasso's period of distorted depictions, with its oversimplified outlines and contrasting colors resembling early Fauvism. Property of Wynn's private collection. Printed on heavyweight artist paper, this print has been custom-framed in hand-finished lacquered molding. A shatterproof acrylic glaze has been applied to the piece for protection.
