Why We Love This

A fine-art giclée reproduction on canvas of "The Dance Hall in Arles" (1888) by Vincent van Gogh. This painting, created during the summer Van Gogh spent with fellow artist Paul Gauguin, seems to show an evening at the Folies-Arlésiennes, a dance hall on Boulevard des Lices. The influence of Gauguin's style, as well as that of Japanese art, is evident in this piece, with its strong black outlines, elevated horizon, and unusual cropped composition. Custom frame.
