Why We Love This

A fine-art giclée reproduction of "Sea-Roses, Yellow Nirwana" (1920) by French Impressionist Claude Monet. In 1893, Monet began a vast landscaping project at his home in Giverny, which included lily ponds that would become the subjects of his best-known works. White water lilies local to France were planted along with imported cultivars from South America and Egypt, resulting in a range of colors from yellow to blue to pink. This scenery, with its alternating light and mirror-like reflections, became an integral part of Monet's work--he painted over 250 water lily canvases throughout his career. Custom frame.
