Why We Love This

An image of schools of silver fish, moving quickly through the water in tight formation, like underwater flashes of light. Printed in UV inks on reclaimed white barn siding, this work evokes the feeling of constant, sleek movement. The piece features an artist signature on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Made in the USA.
To create this series, the artist collected wood from older white barns across the United States and carefully selected each piece for a specific image. Given the wood’s age and previous use, it is likely to have irregularities such as knots, stains, or an uneven surface. These imperfections add character and patina to this fine work of art.

About Parvez Taj

A visionary artist, Parvez Taj creates evocative works for the wall that draw viewers in with brilliant colors and rich textures. Taj freely mixes media, including photography, software, and acrylics, to achieve his bold effects. He works with UV-cured inks and recycled wood, often reclaimed from rural buildings throughout the U.S., to minimize his impact on the environment. Taj was born in Canada and currently lives and works in Los Angeles. His works are entirely made in California.
