Why We Love This

Pine box painted green on a more recent bench-made steel stand. Retains its original paintwork. Used to hold tea in a shop. It has two Chinese characters painted on the front. Great original patination, cracking and wear. Box dates from 1880 and the black steel stand was made custom recently.
