Why We Love This

A rare large green, gray and gold-leaf crackle-glazed vase and plate designed by Thorkild Olsen. Thorkild Oswald Olsen was a Danish painter and ceramist that created the Celadon style for Royal Copenhagen. He is represented in Royal Copenhagen Museum, Museum of Decorative Arts, Museum of Modern Art in New York, Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and the Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza.
