is acclaimed for his ability to fuse classical and contemporary elements
and to marry layers of unexpected textures and colors. His New York
firm handles residential and commercial projects throughout the United
States, Europe, and the Caribbean. In addition to interiors, he designs
fabrics, furniture, and rugs for Lee Jofa and lighting for Visual Comfort.
A contributing writer for House Beautiful, Traditional Home, American
Fine Art, and American Art Collector, he has written a book,
Cohler on Style, slated for publication this fall.
