    • Liz Innvar

This former horticulturist’s colorful floral paintings start with a captured moment. “I take photos of landscapes and specific plants I know well, often using the pictures to spark my imagination,” she says. The artist’s work, using gouache, ink, and watercolor on paper, is always inspired by what surrounds her. “There is an ever-changing exhibit in my home of leaf, seed, flower, and fruit. This close contact creates a deep well of images for me to draw from.”

      • Jen Garrido

Jen Garrido is a California artist through and through. Born in Los Angeles, she got her a BFA in painting from Sonoma State University and an MFA from Mills College in Oakland. Her colorful works seem to be in constant vivid, beautiful motion. “I favor nature-based forms and rhythms, and I am drawn to shapes that tangle, overlap, sit, lean, and lay,” says the artist.

        • Kevin Russ

Russ’s process is a bit unorthodox even by artistic standards. He leaves the studio behind to capture natural subjects while on the road. “Living in my car and sometimes sleeping out in the forest helps me feel more connected to what I’m photographing,” says Russ. When he isn’t hitting the road, the artist resides in Portland, OR.

          • Rai Alexandra

Rai Alexandra was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised by her grandmother, who encouraged her to think broadly and develop her artistic talents. Since then, Alexandra has lived and worked in Los Angeles, New York, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, and India. Bold, multilayered, and emotive, her work reflects her curiosity and wanderlust.

            • Bernard Dunaux

Born in Sydney, Australia, Bernard Dunaux studied art in Paris before moving to the United States in 1981. From his Los Angeles studio, Dunaux has developed a visually harmonious style, applying energetic brushstrokes against fields of soft color and using bright colors to highlight negative spaces. ”My creative process originates when constant thought ceases, and shifts into movement and line, paint and canvas,” says Dunaux.
