Pride of Place
JANUS et Cie was established in 1978 by Janice Feldman, who is still involved in the development of all the company’s products. Its furniture can be found in private residences as well as country clubs, restaurants, hotels, and universities. As befits her company’s name, Feldman has said that great furniture design should look as wonderful today as it did yesterday and should reveal its glory tomorrow.
A classic simplicity infuses all of JANUS et Cie’s outdoor furniture. Superior design, comfort, and craftsmanship are the hallmarks of pieces that often incorporate sustainable and recyclable materials. From minimalist and modern creations to ones inspired by the curvaceous, sculptural shapes found in nature, every piece is built to beautifully withstand the demands of exterior environments.
The Loom line of indoor furniture is made from kraft paper that’s been twisted around a special steel wire. Known for its strength and durability, Loom furniture has a perfectly smooth finish that won’t bend or crack. Many pieces have leather or down-filled cushions, and you can chose a frame in a number of traditional or contemporary colors and stains to create something that suits your individual style.
