19th Century French Faux Bamboo Mirror - Schorr & Dobinsky
A French wall mirror in the faux bamboo style dating from the end of the 19th century. This style was made in a wide variety of furniture and was made by turing hardwood, usually beech, into a classic bamboo form. It was found near Chartres. It is in overall very good condition with only some minor foxing to the silvering. The looking glass measures 15.5" high x 11" wide.
