Prattware Yorkshire Cow Creamers - C.1810 - yellow/black/green
Pair of Georgian period Prattware cow and calf standing creamers, Yorkshire, England, circa 1810. Uniquely glazed in black, enhanced with yellow patches, standing on yellow and green bases with their calves resting between their legs. A yellow and black striped tail, curled black horns, a plugged back and the naive modeling of the calf make this pair especially appealing. Fritting and wear on the plugs.
