As described by Nick Harvill Libraries

Hockney Paints the Stage by Martin Friedman. New York: Abbeville Press, 1983. First Edition. 227 pages. Softcover. Hockney has signed in festive red and green markers. Moreover, in this copy, he has accented the printed green figures with red marker (green figures are not original drawing--only the red accents are). This was the book for a Walker Art Center exhibition. Includes many pages of color and black white illustrations.
